RED FLAG
What is happening to these flags will happen to our country if that woman ever gets back into the White House.
BTW, note the Senator's ever-present companion, Huma Abedin, in the video. She is wearing a pant-suit just like her boss... er... companion.. or colleague... er...whatever.

This is me, with my world-class daughters on each arm, my highly-intelligent son, his beautiful wife and on my far right, one more friend of the family that couldn't resist being in the picture. Please note that I am wearing a turtle-neck sweater, standard fare for a true liberal! The only thing missing is my "impeach Bush" banner. Maybe because I think Bush is doing a good job as president, well ... except for immigration, controlling federal spending, education, and public relations.Friday, March 30, 2007

Cora's Coffee Shoppe

Today Mrs. Bodean and I visited Cora's Coffee Shoppe in Santa Monica... or Venice... or wherever it is. We found it while driving around looking for a place to have breakfast. My GPS located it for us and we almost drove right past it. It is a 20s era coffee shoppe, upgraded for the trendy 21st century. As "liberals" we fit right in with its organic foods, waiters with slicked-back hair, and pricey coffee and tea. Ahh the good life. Algore would have been proud of us, knowing that our carbon-neutral breakfast experience minimally impacted the environment.
Seriously, the food was decent. I had huevos rancheros and Mrs. Bodean had some kind of prosciutto and tomato sandwich that she said was to-die for. Although, she left the roll and the greens from the sandwich piled on her plate, she said the meat and tomato were quite yummy. My huevos rancheros was pretty good. It was served with thick and tasty corn tortillas.. organic, i'm certain, and a roasted jalapeno on top.
At the table next to us, there were a couple of gentlemen talking about some upcoming movie. It sounded like one was trying to sell the other on financing it or something. Ahh... L.A.

Special NIE'ds
Indeed, victory in Iraq is imperative to winning the overall war on terror. Those who wish to cut 'n run from Iraq are only emboldening the terrorists to try to hold out until this administration is out of office.
We don't call liberals names here, like "Democutnrunocrats" or "traitors" ... or anything like that. We like the goals the liberals say they want. And in this case, the liberals want the US to be free from terrorism. But the way to accomplish that goal is to win in Iraq. Winning the war we are in is the right-wing way to accomplish what liberals say they want.

Acting in Lebanon?

The US media willingly go along with Hezbollah's staging of "deaths of children." Take a look at this series of photographs on EU Referendum. They clearly demonstrate that Hezbollah is playing the media like a finely-tuned violin so that world opinion will go against Israel.
I prefer the right-wing way. Help Israel any way we can to destroy Hezbollah. Israel, Lebanon and even the rest of the world will be a safer place.

the ANTI Civil Liberties Union (ACLU)
Here's an exerpt from the directive:
"Where an individual director disagrees with a board position on matters of civil liberties policy, the director should refrain from publicly highlighting the fact of such disagreement."
Ok. And what is the reason for infringing on the Civil Liberties of its own members?
"Directors should remember that there is always a material prospect that public airing of the disagreement will affect the A.C.L.U. adversely in terms of public support and fund-raising."
Aha. Follow the Munny!
Whatever happened to the good ole days when the ACLU was just another commie front and at least PRETENDED to want to preserve civil liberties?

The Shot Glass Doesn't Fall Far From the Bottle

How many vehicles are the men in the Kennedy family going to have to wreck while under the influence of mind-altering substances before the judge starts yanking their drivers' licenses? Again, Patrick Kennedy was driving under the influence of something.. he says sleeping pills.. witnesses say he had been drinking at a bar.. and crashed his car. Fortunately there was no dead blonde in the back seat... this time.
Apparently this is the second automobile accident he has caused in 3 weeks. On April 15th he made an erratic turn into traffic on his way to the drug store.
In 1986 he had a little bout with cocaine.. and the list goes on and on. But hey... he's a Kennedy. Kennedys get to violate the law with impugnity while their constituents, the press and the police give them a pass.
I prefer the right-wing way of handling this. Enforce the law... even for Kennedys.

BUSH WAS RIGHT!
Take a look at this video by the RIGHT BROTHERS. There will be more similar attestations to the rightness of Bush's policies over the next few years.
